BOTTLENECKS

When inventory does not match, it is hard to find where the error occurred

01

Sales orders, purchase orders and production orders do not automatically become warehouse requests, so staff must enter them again.

02

Goods are split across warehouses, locations or sales channels without one consistent way to track them.

03

When inventory differs, it is difficult to identify the document, lot or serial involved and who performed the action.

SOLUTION

A process with clear data, responsibilities and control points

  • Each warehouse document has a source, locations, item lines and a clear lifecycle.
  • Stock is tracked by quantity, lot or serial, with configured bundle and unit conversion.
  • Counts, adjustments and the movement ledger retain the context needed for reconciliation.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions businesses commonly ask

Can warehouse documents be created from orders?

Inventory can be configured to create warehouse documents from sales orders, purchase orders and return flows.

Can Inventory track lots, serials and bundles?

Inventory supports quantity, lot and serial tracking models. Dynamic bundles can be expanded into their components when a warehouse document is created. The appropriate setup depends on the product type and operating process.

How do stock counts and adjustments work?

The flow records system quantity, counted quantity and the difference. After approval, it can create an adjustment transaction. Approval rights and the point at which stock is updated need to be defined clearly.

Can implementation be completed quickly?

An initial implementation scope can be completed in approximately 1–4 weeks. The actual timeline depends on data readiness, the processes to configure and integration requirements.
